Rick Worman

Captain Rick Worman

Captain Rick Worman is fanatical about fish. Calling the space coast of Florida home, Rick has spent his life finding every spot in the Indian and Banana rivers a fish might call home. Being a former FLW tour winner has taught Rick that to be on the top of his game means that he has to eat, sleep, and dream fish. A task he his happy to take on. Whether it’s tarpon from the spring through the fall, or redfish year round the good Captain knows where they are, what they’re eating and the most rewarding ways to catch them. While Rick enjoys all forms of fishing he has dedicated himself to sight fishing these trophies, and especially enjoys utilizing a fly rod for these up close encounters. Ricks main goal everyday spent on the water is to impart his years of knowledge and experience to whomever he is fishing with. A lot of guides can put you on fish but only the rare few will make you a better fisherman, and Rick resides amongst the best. Whether it’s fish behavior, casting, or rigging; Rick works exceptionally hard at making sure that every client leaves his trips with not only great memories of fish caught, but new skills to take home with them.

The Skiff
Action Craft 1620 FlyFisher SE

Captain Rick Worman, Flatline Guide Services of Central Florida

“This is by far my favorite skiff I have owned. It’s dry smooth ride and shallow water versatility make this boat a superior fishing platform to work out of”

Action Craft’s acute attention to detail is obvious on even the smallest members of our fleet, the 1622 FlyFisher. The lightweight, QuiDry® hull and large snag-free deck make it a light tackle and fly caster’s dream. The FlyFisher’s unobstructed, functional layout reveals it’s a place for serious fishing, and the modified diamond non-skid deck surface provides sure-footing for the most active of anglers. Rod racks beneath the wide 14″ gunwales offers room for eight rods up to 10 feet in length, with rod tip tubes forward to insure their safe storage. And, the adition of the bench seat with flush, fold-down backrest to the 1622’s credentials, brings you to a new level of comfort in a 16 foot skiff.
